The Scottish Youth Parliament believes that the penalty money proposed to be charged for vehicles driving in Low Emission Zones (LEZ’s) which do not meet the emission standards, as per the Transport (Scotland) Bill, should be used by Local Authorities to cover the costs of running the LEZ and other work that meets the aims of low emission zones.
