The Scottish Youth Parliament is concerned that SQA’s recently reformed Results Services (both Exceptional Circumstances and Post-Results Services) do not allow for total consideration of a candidate’s individual circumstances, their previous course work (including prelim grade), or mental wellbeing at the time of the exam. SYP therefore calls on the SQA and the Scottish Government to review the current system to make the process fairer and more accessible.
